2 – 4 PM, Saturday, April 5 Eatonville Restaurant Chef Rafael Nuñez and Michon Boston (creator of the makes-me-wanna SHOUT! Baking Challenge) will talk about and demonstrate how to make cherry pie at Macy’s Metro Center store (1201 G Street, NW, Washington, DC). Free cherry pie samples, door prizes, and you can pick up recipe brochures for all the prize winning desserts from the makes-me-wanna SHOUT! Baking Challenge: 2011 Coconut Cake with Cream Cheese Frosting, 2012 Chocolate Trio Cake, and 2013 Vinegar Pie. We’re cooking up a challenge for 2014 with the DC State Fair. Stay tuned.
