First Bake of the Chocolate Trio Cake at Eatonville Restaurant

King Arthur Flour‘s Chef Susan Reid joined Chef Raphael, pastry chef Gregoria Contreras, and Makes-Me-Wanna SHOUT! Chocolate Layer Cake Baking Challenge winner Austin Brown in the Eatonville Restaurant kitchen to make the first Chocolate Trio cakes which will debut on the restaurant menu Father’s Day. Susan videotaped the cake making for an upcoming King Arthur DVD, “Cake Essentials” (anticipated release in the fall). “Cake Essentials” follows up King Arthur’s “Pie Essentials” DVD with tips and recipes for baking delicious desserts. Chef Susan is also editor of King Arthur’s “The Baking Sheet” newsletter.
