Artfully Chocolate is more than just a chocolate shop. It’s a chocolate drop of heaven with a hot cocoa bar, handmade chocolates, cards, gifts, candies and even baking chocolate. They also host wine and chocolate tastings.
The chocolate disks behind the bar can be purchased by the pound. They’re also melted for Artfully Chocolate’s hot cocoa beverages. Kingsbury Chocolate (the principle brand of chocolate sold at the store) is available by the bag and can be used for baking. Sadly, Artfully Chocolate had to close their Washington, DC location this year. But they’re still open in Alexandria, VA at 506 John Carlye Street just off of Duke in the Carlyle complex; and 2003a Mt. Vernon Avenue in Del Ray.
